PROJECT: URBAN LIVING ROOM

In 2012 Bas Kortmann and Eddy Kaijser (Studio ID Eddy) teamed up to produce, curate and design the Urban Living Room; a homely place in public space. Created with the best Dutch Design has to offer, all coated in blue to make this setting into an abstract image. The coating is in fact a poly urethane that protect and conserve the objects, so they can permanently be placed outdoors, in city environments, parks and gardens.

We use the Urban Living Room as a mobile stage for living room music performances, dance performances, story telling and board games.
